MODEL/TALENT RELEASE FORMS

The client is responsible for composing and providing all model/talent releases, which must be sent to the agency prior to the shoot date. Talent will sign releases on set with agency approval. Agency may sign on the models/talent’s behalf. If images from the shoot are utilized for A) another client, B) additional usage, or C) extended usage beyond the expiration date; separate negotiations are required. No release is valid until the agency has been paid in full.

FEES

A standard 20% Agency Service Charge will be applied to all rates and usage fees (not including Travel Stipends).

INVOICING

Payment is required to be made by the client within 30 days of the date of the invoice which is submitted by the agency after the booking has taken place. A 1.5% Finance Charge may be applied to any unpaid invoices over 30 days. Unless the agency specifically agrees otherwise, in writing, no usage of the model/talent’s images/footage is permitted until the agency has received payment in full.

USAGE RIGHTS

Are limited to specific rights granted (ex: non-union video, stills, packaging, global usage, limited terms, etc.) and may not be extended without negotiation.

BOOKING

Models/Talent may be booked on an hourly basis (2-hr minimum), Half-4hr Day, or Full-8hr Day.

DAY RATES

A Full Day rate is computed for eight (8) consecutive hours (including lunch) between the hours of 8am and 6pm (e.g., 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm). It cannot be converted to an hourly rate during the booking, and must be paid as specified, even if the model/talent is not utilized for the entire eight-hour period.

OVERTIME RATES

Overtime is charged at one-and-a-half times the hourly rate and is applicable to any additional time worked beyond a Full-8hr Day booking and before 8am and after 6pm (in 30-minute increments). Saturdays are charged at one-and-a-half times the hourly rate and Sundays or Bank Holidays are charged at double the hourly rate. Double-Time is applicable to any additional time worked over a 12-hour period, also calculated in 30-minute increments.

UNDERWEAR & SWIMWEAR

This category includes bras, panties, slips, hose, teddies, boxer shorts, jockey, sleepwear, swimwear, transparent, or translucent apparel. The usage of the model’s image must not be pornographic, derogatory, or a cause of ridicule or embarrassment to the model. A closed set is mandatory, and the client shall ensure the model is treated with respect and professionalism. The client must also take all the steps necessary to ensure that the health and wellbeing of the model is protected and maintained at all times on set. The rate is double the hourly rate unless specified by the agency.

FITTINGS

Fittings are billed at $75/hour unless otherwise specified by the agency. There is a minimum charge of 1-hour for all fittings.

TRAVEL TIME

If a model/talent is traveling from out of state or needs to commute 50+ miles to participate in your project, an additional $50 Travel Stipend may be applied to cover related expenses. If a model/talent utilizes their personal vehicle and is required to drive to a second location, talent shall be reimbursed $0.50 per mile for auto expenses.

WEATHER PERMITS

For Weather Permitted bookings, there will be no charge to the client if the model/talent is notified before departing for the booking and is rescheduled within 30 days of the original shoot date. Weather Permits must be specified at the time of the booking.

POSTPONING A BOOKING

If a client decides to postpone a confirmed booking with less than 24 hours’ notice of the booking call time, any model/talent who was confirmed will receive compensation for 50% of the originally agreed rate. If the client does not reschedule the postponed shoot within 30 days of the original shoot date, the model/talent booked will be compensated for the remaining half of the originally agreed upon shoot rate.

CANCELLATIONS by the Client

In cases where a client is forced to cancel a confirmed booking with less than 24 hours’ notice of the booking call time, any model/talent confirmed will be compensated for 100% of the agreed shoot rate.

CANCELLATIONS by the Agency

Should the agency need to cancel a model/talent, it is obligated to make reasonable efforts to provide the client with adequate notice. The agency should also take proactive measures to propose a suitable replacement and/or substitute to the client, undertaking any other reasonable and practicable steps to minimize the impact of such a cancellation.

LIVE FASHION

Available for shows, informals, showroom and conventions. Rate negotiable depending on type and duration of the booking.

VIDEO & FILM

Union productions must comply with SAG/AFTRA rules and standard rates. Non-union production rates are negotiable and must be established prior to the shoot.
